Students (known as Gadz’sArts) at this prestigious applied arts and engineering school wear a lab coat called a biaude. Gadz'Arts customize their coats individually. The grey coats of first year students are sombre and plain. Those of second and third year students are white and have elaborate coloured motifs and drawings. The Gadz'Arts community is proud of its ancient values of mutual aid and friendship, and on the oral memory of anecdotes and songs recounting centuries of school history
I created this poster from my own photography, captured in February 2017 while visiting the Abbaye of Cluny
